Life Under Fire

All my life people have made suggestions what I and everyone else should do

For the most part I would listen

Moving on and looking back over the years

i wonder why I didn't see how to do it myself

I always think other people know better than me

They have gone through the ropes to the ringer

I would save time and money

Listening to their advice

I would still make the final decision

I just needed a little guidance to get there

As today leads into tomorrow

I will try to do more things on my own

My wife gives me support and encouragement

I have a very few close friends who will help me if needed

So we shall see what today will bring

Tomorrow more hopes and dreams

One day soon turning into reality
