Mental Chains.

Updated on December 22, 2017

Remember the day,
everything you had to say,
did you enjoy the games you had to play,
missed your stop on the train,
walking miles in the rain,
followed the river to the drain,
laughter running around your brain,
are we mad or just insane,
see the green turn to brown,
watch the lights on the edge of town,
you scream but hear no sound,
in a river of tears would you swim,
or like a stone would you drown,
could you pull a fish from the sea,
catch a bird......high in a tree,
close your eyes.....still do you see,
without your chains you must be free,
mental chains hypocracy

Have you ever forgotten where your going?

Wonderful poetic narration. Your chain metaphor is very fresh giving vitality to your emotions.
