Write a poem worth a thought

Read every book worth reading

Visit every place worth seeing

Fly to the zenith of this world


I wish I were…

A ray of hope and courage

Above all worries and fears

Free from all bonds


I wish

There was not a wretched soul in this world

Religion, pride and greed never showed its ugly side


Wishes...

Some just wishful thinking

Some, nothing but providence

Some well nigh impossible

And some not entirely impossible


I wish for a wishing well to make every wish come true

But then, wishes would be worth nothing

And nothing would have the worth of a wish...
