I wrote this song at a time when I felt inspired to try my hand at lyric writing. I produced a handful of songs; all of them I heard in my mind as acoustic performances. This song, like the others, is about love and relationships - in this case, the singer is regaining strength following a breakup, and actually finds a new-found self-confidence that was missing before....
