The Zombie Apocalypse
Zombies are fictitious, but history says they aren't
How far back can you remember "zombies"? In the 60's you had scary movies and you saw people running from them in drive-ins. The concept has pretty much stayed the same throughout the years. However, the latest craze of the zombie apocalypse has taken it's hold on the world.
Where ever you go, you see t-shirts, magazines, television shows, like "The Walking Dead" and cartoon funny books.
The obsession has entered our home as well. A healthy obsession, one might say because it has been a catalyst for open conversation with our children which has lead to interesting topics.
What would you do in case of a Zombie Apocalypse?
One of my children believes that it would be exciting and with all our different skills; that we would most definitely survive. From stock piling weapons, food, medical supplies and fortifying our self. My other child believes that as survivors we would need to have a historian as well to document everything for the future.
The conversation was amazing because we were able to actually see what and how our children think and I can say that it was enjoyable and eye opening.

Movies and magazines show people running in fear. My family, we would stay put and let them come. Better to defend from where you know, than run around in unexplored areas.
The apocalypse is coming, are you prepared?
