Teardrops In The Rain
Isaiah 49
1Listen to me, you islands;hear this, you distant nations:
Before I was born the Lordcalled me;from my mother’s womb he has spoken my name.
2He made my mouth like a sharpened sword,in the shadow of his hand he hid me;
he made me into a polished arrowand concealed me in his quiver.
3He said to me, “You are my servant,Israel, in whom I will display my splendor.”

Isaiah 52
11Depart, depart, go out from there!Touch no unclean thing!
Come out from it and be pure, you who carry the articles of the Lord’s house.
12But you will not leave in haste or go in flight;for the Lord will go before you,
the God of Israel will be your rear guard.

TEARDROPS IN THE RAIN
10 thousand TEARDROPS in the RAIN
This storm makes insignificant.
A glowing million brilliant Stars
Still won’t warm the chill of night.
My kingdom on these sandy shores
Is lost each night to rising swells.
All things that glitter are not gold,
But even gold won’t always shine.
“Please pardon my transgressions now,”
As I look forward to a sin tomorrow.
I can’t be pure, but could be better…
My failures far exceed successes
But that’s just TEARDROPS in the RAIN
Hello?!! Down Here!!
The brightest of the shooting stars
Is falling should it get near Earth.
I’m the proof that strong survive,
But I’m tired of proving that I can!
“Depart, depart, go out from there”
I will, when I can pay for free.
My weakness just may be my strength,
But I’m sharp and hidden in the quiver.
And now I’ve grown this Mustard Seed,
But, who can show me how it works?
I’m Here! Now What?!
I’m losing but no flag’s been waved
My petition, Lord, is simply this:
Let all my days exceed the last.
Common hours can’t expect my soon success,
As I approach, with faith, my grandest dreams.
Though cursed, I’m blessed in Everything:
I’ll live my life, won’t fear death’s sting,
And by God- my Faith will make me King!
That’s Far from TEARDROPS in the RAIN!
