The Poet and the Legend

One was a legend of Hubpages
known far and wide
his work in the written word
none better.... could you find
From the shores of a far lake ...
he sent his poems and writes
social communication... was his style
in the form of small gigabytes
Yes.. he was loved by all
at least..... they told him so
praise they heaped upon his site
telling him to.... never go
Along now comes.. the Poet
respectful.... as well as he can
writing poems of Broken Hearts
explaining....that he is only a man
His poems attract the.... Lovelys
the Sweet.. the Shy... the Nice
his words are sugar coated
and sometimes filled... with spice
The Legend...now filled with envy
howled.... steal my fan's, how dare
he....think writes better poems than me
I will strip his soul so bare
I will berate his words
leave him behind... like a car racer
dirty his image... with my style
after all he is only a skirt chaser
I have class and evoke images
of pomp and circumstance
I will slice open his dream
with my social music lance
After the Poet was Cleaned of Respect
the Legend went on his merry way
he still garners his shallow awards
he is still the best...
his blind followers all say
