The Classic Little Red Hen
Favorite Children's Story
Little Red Hen is a classic folk tale children's story. A story of a little red hen who finds wheat to plant and no help from her animal friends to do it.
Out of all the books that my son liked to have read to him when he was little was "The Little Red Hen". It was his favorite! He is now 23. We both have fond memories of this classic story of The Little Red Hen and being read to him. Those younger days sure were a special time.
In this article you will read more about the classic tale and watch a video or listen to a song about the little red hen. You can download the eBook to your kindle for your child to enjoy; even download a free version of the classic folk tale.
The Classic Tale
The Little Red Hen is about a red hen that finds a grain of wheat and asks her animal friends to plant it, water it, harvest it, mill it and bake it but each one said "Not I". In the end after she has done each task herself she asks who will help me eat this bread. Each one said "I will" but she says no you won't because you wouldn't help contribute to the making and baking the bread.
The moral of this story is that those who show no willingness to contribute to helping do not deserve to enjoy the end goods created.
