Teaching Grammar

Kids Books by Brian Cleary make grammar learning fun. I have been a teacher for over 30 year and during that time I taught children learn grammar. A lot of time is spent teaching children to understand the parts of speech. I have found that the books by Brian Cleary a very useful resource for learning. It gives children the opportunity for self learning which is a very important part of the learning process. Stories have proven to be a very effective method to reinforce classroom learning.

The humor in the writing of Brian Cleary bring delight to children who laugh and chuckle at the absurdity of his books. It is and excellent resource for teachers and parent alike. Children delight in reading these books hardly realizing they are actually learning. I can't tell you how these books have help my student learning their grammar lessons with ease and learning fun. Children are all about having learning fun and anything I can do to make learning fun has always been one of my teaching goals.

As a teacher I know that children love to entertain themselves with reading. Most like to feel like experts in subject areas while reading this book they are entertained and learn and remember the lesson. I believe when something about learning is fun it is more easily remembered.
