Tramps: A POEM
Tramps: A POEM
Many reel in great ignorance
Like the unfortunate spill of faeces
From a diarrhea-stricken anus
Their mouths like the pieces of a shattered glass
I watch, silently
Like the head of a smoked fish
With open mouth filled with shame
A poke to pop
Like a tot stricken with fever
Deep in trouble's den
Glancing in silhouetted pauses
Few live in poverty's shadow
Many drink it like wine
Sorrow is at the back door
With a bump to his face
But his guts are still the same
From the mouths of the stalkers
Words jab the air
Stinking of sullen promises
The stench is in their hands
To rip us apart
Storied stories of stinking saints
Who can tell from the cap of a dick
Its ripeness and sweetness
We've been demystified
Lampooned and deceived
Our conscience ajar
Like the open hands of a prayer-warrior
Nemesis is king!
Our hearts ripped apart with false promises
For their chance to reap the seats
Seats littered with power
Marauders of oafish clan
The people, their tool
Many reel in great ignorance
Like the unfortunate spill of faeces
From a diarrhea-stricken anus
Their mouths like the pieces of a shattered glass.
