~~~ Until the Storm Passes by~~~
Sitting by my window sill just enjoying
the sunshine and scenery that’s spread
so beautifully before me. I smiled for everything
seemed to be so fine and dandy .Then suddenly
without a warning it came, dark shadows
now smeared across the skies. Not a speck of
white in sight. Thunders roared and bellowed heavily,
lightning kept flickering and cracking wildly. The
raindrops fell profoundly pounding on my galvanized roof.
I ran to my bed for safety, I was wondering where did
this storm came from , there were no warnings,
everything seemed perfect just awhile ago, then to my
astonishment water was now seeping through my door
with swiftness. I ran to the door to take a peek
and to my bewilderment an enormous wave
just swept through the sky. It’s coming with speed
and momentum. My heart cringed with fear
I had nowhere to run and hide, all my family and
friends were nowhere to be found, soon the water
will gush through the door and my life will be
no more just like a ship wrecked upon the oceans
floor. I slammed the door and waited for my
fate, Then I remembered to whisper a prayer,
to Jesus because when everyone forsakes me He alone
shows how much He really cares for me. He alone can
calm the storms that are raging in my life.................
unexpectedly a light came shinning so brightly with
beaming colours of gold and yellow. There was sunlight
outside, I was happy for the storm had just passed me by
This poem connects how trials just appear in our lives
