ALONE IN MY HEART

Updated on March 19, 2014

What is life like in this cruel world?

Merely looking around the corner tells one of the things to expect. The wretched faces of the people masquerading around in their dirt and driven by the dust of poverty. The poor lurk around the empty carcasses of destruction as the pangs and claws of death hover around them. Will their cries be heard? Many have asked countless questions in anguish whispering in annoyance of the world's wickedness. When will the end be? Will it be hallowed and soon or will it be imminent?

‘Whoever is determined should not be deterred' is a wise saying that has implicit benefit for all who desire to aspire. Certainly, determination is the product of result. Any who hopes to achieve success in the face of trials must be determined and resolute and must not allow the things around him to dictate his or her pace. It is important though, to note that one who is in the vehicle of success cannot be endangered if he or she takes determination as his or her master.

Thoughtfully, it is important to note that people have overcome adverse difficulties and hard situations by making effective progress in the face of opposition. Certainly, every breath contributes to life. Then for one to prosper, we need all that is required to make it happen no matter our disabilities: whether poverty, illness or diseases. It makes sense to say that many people have come and gone through that way successfully.

According to my own analysis, billions of people in the world receive the mortgage loans at different banks. Hence, there's great possibilities to get a bank loan in every country.

This article is so true the most successful people made progress through struggles and a great deal of them have become wealthy as a result of their struggle, there is a man here in the U.S. Tyler Perry, you may have heard of him, he was homeless, now he is a millionaire from his writings, plays, and director in movies. I scored accordingly

i have read and re-read your entry and have yet to understand the title...

"alone in my heart" infers that its about a loss of love or the inability to love and your entry is about the misfits of society wondering if they will ever be more than just that, no?

we all strive to be... and not always can the end justify the means. that does not mean we lack heart or courage just that not all are in the position to do better.

this may cause heartache to some degree but in truth, its a mental exercise that we have all put ourselves through. that is what makes us move forward...

Hi Ubanichijioke, I like the various issues you have raised in your hub. Life is all about the above thus, we have to do such actions that make us go into salvation and do not undergo this chapter of LIFE anymore.

I think the key to all our problems is getting salvation (moksha) and that can only be done by good deeds which unfortunately, we hardly do since, we are all engulfed in negativity around us.

Really thought provoking Ubani this Sunday morning, You always bring out some deep thoughts within. We are an imperfect human race in an imperfect world, trying to survive. Some are born in horrendous conditions for no reason; those of us who are born under other conditions should be thankful in our hearts and always want to help others. Each person I believe is been given a measure of faith. We do not know what that measure is until tested repeatedly. Some are able to overcome and some just cannot rise, and not that they do not want too. If we were all born conquerors, I think we would never learn humility, gratitude, sympathy. Life is truly a work in progress for us all and should be always striving to be the best we can towards others as well as ourselves. Thank you and God bless,

      Sunnie

Alexander, your deliberations about life reminded me of that of Mahatma Buddha. He said " There is suffering in the world, and the suffering can be wiped out, and there is a way to end it. History is abuzz with great personalities who altered the world as we witness it today. Great write. Voted up.

thanks Harishprasad, years have trekked by since i wrote this but the words still holds water.

I am glad you found this elaborately enlightening.

      Great quote there...

I agree, something can be done and must be done to help mankind in this pursuit for perfection/end to suffering. God holds the key (as some would say) to the puzzle. thanks for your kind and honest reply. bless you
