Working Class Poem
The Worker's Class (poem)
My life category is working class so I'm a slave
I work long hours, 5 days a week for minimum wage
infuriating I remain as this government has me in this cage
drug addict's and lazies get free cash flow for doing nothing with their day
we as worker's are clown's to the system
we think we are free when really, we are in prison
When stress level's continue to rise, motivation becomes depression
Blood pressure is at boiling point then you snap with aggression
starved and unwatered feeling like a zombie
you become programmed and disfigured wandering around endlessly
I used to be a social man before
now work has become a routine that I cannot ignore
I pay to enjoy a home where i no longer live anymore
obsessed with checking the time waiting for the day to be over once more.
