Who else is a big fan of Zoe Sharp and her crime fighting heroine, Charlie Fox?
What? A female heroine who the Chicago Tribute describes as "borderline psychotic?" A heroine who works as a bodyguard and who fights crime in a really physical way, while dashing across the moors (or more recently, the streets of New York) on her motorcycle? And, when not engaged in fighting evil, finds time to rebel against her wealthy, status conscious parents by kanoodling with her ominous and scary boyfriend, Sean.
Yep. That's Charlie Fox. She appears in a growing number of novels and short stories penned by Great Britain's Zoe Sharp.
If you're a fan of Zoe Sharp's writing, please stick around and share your thoughts. If not, stick around anyway. Perhaps we will convert you.
About Zoe Sharp
Zoe Sharp lives in Great Britain in England's Lake District. Her husband Andy is also a writer, but of non-fiction.
Zoe's history is as unusual and fascinating as that of her heroine, Charlie. She was raised on a catamaran, left school at twelve years of age, and wrote her first novel at age fifteen. As to why Zoe created a heroine like Charlie Fox, it could be because Zoe received death threats while working as a photojournalist. Charlie Fox works as a bodyguard and is in the habit of rescuing people who receive death threats, you see!
Currently, Zoe has authored ten books in the Charlie Fox series, plus a number of short stories.
You will find much more information about Zoe on her web site and on her Facebook page. Since I have not met Zoe personally, much as I would love to, I can't add anything else about her history other than to suggest you visit her web pages.
