About Cornhole
Cornhole is a game that probably came out of Cincinnati though it may have been played in Germany in the Middle Ages century in some version of the game. It is a lawn game, in which you throw bags of corn on to a raised platform which has a hole at the far end. If you get a bag in the hole, you score three points. If you get a bag on the platform, you score one point. This is a team game that goes on until one of the teams scores a total of 21 points.
Playing Cornhole
Of course the game is not as simple as it sounds. There are many terms associated with the game that makes it more fun to play. It is a Screaming Eagle if the bag goes past the board without hitting it. You can become a Cornstar by defying authority and playing with supreme confidence and ability. Throw a Sacramento Sling or an Omaha Overhead to gain recognition for your pitching skills.
Cornhole Bags
For every cornhole game you need two sets of bags and two platforms. Each 'set' needs four bags, and each bag must be different from the rest. These bags are usually in sets of four, with four different colors to differentiate them from each other. These bags are to be filled with one pound of corn (or pellets) each, though they may weight different depending on the weights of the bags.
