Cuisinart Toaster Oven Review

Updated on January 17, 2010

Let's face it. Toasters make everything easier. So wouldn't you want to find the best toaster around, so that you can make your life that much easier? Of course you would!

I believe that there if a solution out there for you. There are a lot of toaster ovens out there on the market, and not all of them are any good. I would say that hardly any of them are any good. Well, I believe that I have found one that not only does the job that is intended of it, it also goes above and beyond the call of duty for what any toaster oven would be expected to do.

Normally, I do not endorse specific brands or products, as I would prefer that people do their own research online, since they will be able to figure out what is best for them in their individual cases. However, I am making an exception here. I personally use the Cuisinart Toaster Oven, and I can honestly say that it is worth every penny you pay, regardless of your situation.

It is really that good. I wholeheartedly support Cuisinart, and I would gladly buy any of their other products without hesitation, because I know that if they can make one product that is this unbelievable, they will probably be able to make many, many more products that surpass my expectations.

So let me tell you my personal story, and my personal experience with the Cuisinart Toaster Oven. Recently, I moved out on my own. I was in need of appliances, and especially a toaster. Why? Well, you see, I am a morning person. I love everything about mornings. I love to go jogging in the mornings, and watch the sun rise as I feel the cool breeze whip against my face. Of course, after a healthy jog, I get a healthy appetite worked up. I am not a picky eater. I have never been a picky eater. When I was little, I would eat just about anything that was put in front of me, and time has not changed my personality and the way that I eat.

Like many people, I enjoy a large breakfast, and part of that large breakfast is toast. I like my toast a certain way, and God save the appliance that fails to make my toast in that certain way.

I was doing research online to the best toaster that I could get on my limited budget, when I got a phone call from my friend. I told him what I was doing, and he said "Don't waste your time on some piece of crap toaster, just get the one I have." I asked him what model of toaster he had, and he told me that it was a Cuisinart TOB-195 Exact Heat Toaster Oven. I had noticed this toaster before when I was doing research online, but I did not think anything of it, because I had been looking at so many toasters in my research. In fact, I do not think that I had even written this toaster down as a potential toaster oven that I might want to buy.

I asked my friend what was so special about this toaster, and why I would want to get this toaster instead of getting one of the vast numbers of toasters that I had checked out previously. His response? "Dude, it's a freakin' oven!"

He was right. While it is a grade-A toaster, it is also an oven, and a very good one at that. So what can this particular toaster/oven do for you? How about cook an entire pizza? And that's just for starters.

Before we talk about the things that it can do, let's talk about the way it looks. Guys, I know that it is just an appliance, but it looks GOOD. It fits in perfectly with the rest of my kitchen, and I have heard lots of comments from my friends about what an awesome looking toaster oven it is.

Now, this thing is very precise. I have not once had a problem with the temperature being too low or too high. The temperature is always right where it is supposed to be, and my food always comes out very consistently.

And it is not just toast that comes out looking great. You can cook an entire chicken with this thing! No joke! Anything that goes in an oven will also go in the TOB-195. In addition, I have never had any problems cleaning it either. The inside is chrome. This means that cleaning is a breeze.

Overall, I could not be a single bit happier about my Cuisinart TOB-195 Exact Heat Toaster Oven. I don't often recommend a single product, but in this case I do. Best of luck with your own personal experience, and thanks for reading my Cuisinart toaster oven review.
