Filterqueen Defender Air Purifier

We bought this years ago from a Filterqueen representative. He came to give us a years worth of free cone filters for our Majestic. He gave me a 12 pack of filters.

I almost scoffed at him. Poor guy. This house was so dusty when we bought it, that I could have gone through a 12 pack in one day. I'm not kidding.

That, of course, was not his fault. The previous owner had renters, with two dogs, a few cats. I could almost guarantee that the renter was not a spectacular housekeeper, either.

Since our kids still lived here when we bought it, I thought I should check the filter. Our kids all moved out at the same time. 2009.

it is pretty simple. Turn it over and unscrew the knob. It releases a cap that holds a couple filters in place.

We run an air humidifier at night, so, maybe during day, we need to dedust the air?

So, let's run this bad boy.

I started it up in the bedroom. It started blowing since there was a cloud of dust now airborne, I took a picture.

Picture me, laying facedown on the bed, peering up at dust particles.

Click click click.

I noticed the dust particles getting fewer and fewer. Then I shut it off. Replugged in my vaporizer. Tomorrow. Tomorrow we will know for sure, when we wake up without plugged noses.

It's the next day. I feel a little better.

Tonight, when I get home, we will see how hubby feels. That will be the moment of truth.
