The 2010 HGTV Dream Home

Updated on October 19, 2014

2010 HGTV Dream Home

This year's Dream Home is in Sandia Park, New Mexico along the Turquoise Trail between Albuquerque and Santa Fe.

It's a fully furnished 3,900-square-foot contemporary Pueblo-style home worth nearly $2 million. There are 360 degree views of the San Pedro Mountains from this hilltop lot. It includes an open kitchen, a cozy home theater, adorable child's room, plenty of space for guests, and high ceilings throughout the home. Plus, this year's winner will also receive a 2010 GMC Terrain and $500,000 in cash...that will surely help with the taxes.

Oh Yes! I have set my sights on this home... I have several times watched all of the videos, looked at all the pictures, googled Sandia Park... and pictured us riding our horses off into the landscape. My daughter, just turning 17, really needs a fresh start ~ a new beginning. After almost 14 years in this same town I am also ready for a change of scenery and lifestyle, so this would be incredibly fabulous for both of us! LOA take us away!!!

There is nothing missing in this home. HGTV you have out done yourselves. The home has warmth, light and all the comforts anyone could ask for. The morning sunrises and evening sunsets set the mood for everyday . I hope Mike and I have a chance at winning this wonderful house. Love, Barb
