Leather Shag Rugs: A Winning Addition To Your Home

Updated on January 21, 2010

Everybody likes to have a home that looks good, but few people can really pull off a look that both fits them and fits their home. Fortunately, there is a solution. That solution is leather shag rugs.

"Wait a minute," I hear you say, "didn't shag die out way back in the seventies?" Not at all! Shag is alive and well, and it remains a very fashionable statement even three decades after the seventies came to a close. Not everyone realizes how good shag looks, but if they are shown some examples, they usually come around.

So what does all this mean for you? It means that although not everyone is doing it, by getting a shag rug for your house, you are setting a trend that will explode in the next few years, since fashions come in cycles. And who would not want to be a trendsetter?

There are a ton of ways that you can place your leather shag rug in your home for maximum effect. The living room being the best example. You can have a fashionable rug in your living room that is both trendy and feel very comfortable.

Fashionable and comfortable!

The neatest thing about leather shag rugs is the way that they look. They are made of small strips of leather that are woven together into a pattern not unlike the shag rugs of yesteryear. This gives them a look that is both very trendy and very pleasing to the eye. Leather shag rugs are the epitome of a modern home: sophisticated, retro, and current, all at the same time!

Rugs are not as expensive as they used to be, and they are certainly not expensive to buy online. I recommend shopping online for many reasons, the two most important being that it is always more convenient, and it is virtually always cheaper. And who wouldn't want to buy leather shag rug while sitting in the very same room that the leather shag rug will go in?

Since I am already talking all about leather rugs, let's look at a few and see what we will be buying.
