Man Candles at Yankee Candle

When you picture candles, what type of person pops up in your head? Do you think of Grandma and her apple pie scented candle? What about your mother and her lemon lavender scented kitchen candle? Maybe you even think about a teenage girl and her cupcake scented candle. You know who candle companies have long been neglecting? Dudes! You may not realize this, but dudes like candles, too. Thank goodness Yankee Candle has decided to jump on board and help men out by creating man candles.

Men sometimes won't admit it, but most of them like candles. It is nice if they've burnt something on the stove and need to cover the odor. Single guys love candles because they can set the mood for a nice date or help cover up that sweaty sock odor going on in the bathroom. Dudes love candles. I knew there was Funky Town, but who knew a place called Man Town existed? In Yankee Candle, this place exists in the form of a scented candle. Man Town is a purplish gray color. The label on the front of the jar features a man with a remote control watching a football game. It can't get much manlier than that.

If you are wondering how the candle smells, it is actually pretty nice. It smells like men's cologne. If you like the smell of a man's cologne or you are looking for a pleasant scent to buy the man in your life, this is probably your best bet.

First Down is Yankee Candle's football scented candle. It has a football on the label and it is a brown candle. To be honest, it doesn't make me think of a football when I smell it. The fragrance is more like a new car smell. If you are looking for a candle that has that new car / leather odor, look no further. First Down is definitely the candle for you!

Oh yeah, nothing says manly like a candle called "2 X 4." Obviously, the label on this candle jar is going to feature some boards, measuring tape, and some tools. This is a total dude candle. 2 X 4 is the perfect candle for guys that are carpenters or enjoy working on construction projects for fun.

The candle actually smells like wood chips. When you sniff it, you will think about pencils being sharpened while in grade school and the wood shavings from those pencils. If you'd like a candle that will take you back to childhood, you should go to Yankee Candle and buy 2 X 4 right now.

If you know a man that likes to mow the lawn every weekend, you should get the Riding Mower scented candle for that guy. Yankee Candle's Riding Mower smells just like freshly cut grass. Of course, the photo on the front shows a riding lawn mower.

This is actually a perfect candle for someone that enjoys being outdoors, yet that person can't handle too much sun or struggles with allergies when outside for too long. Riding Mower is naturally a green candle and probably the more generic of the man candles. I am pretty sure a woman would appreciate this candle just as much as a man.

I hope if you are a guy, you are now inspired to admit you like scented candles from Yankee Candle just as much as the next person. If you are a woman, perhaps you will buy some guys man candles as gifts. They are great for boyfriends, husbands, brothers, fathers, and grandfathers.
