In this hub I am going to write about the uses and advantages of our sweet fruit" mango". Mango is one of the delicious fruit that all people will like to eat. The mangoes are usually seen in the summer seasons. Summer season is the season where mango fruits are grown. The mango fruit has many uses.The mango has ripped and raw form. The smell of the mangoes are sweet. The worlds largest mango producing country is India. China and Mexico are the next largest mango producing countries.

Mango fruit - different uses

The mango fruit has many uses in making variety of food items. The ripened mango fruit is usually yellow in color and these ripened mangoes can be used for making variety of curries. The ripened mango fruit is one of the children's favorite fruits.

Another important use of these mango fruit is that it can be used for the preparation of fresh juices. Mango shakes can be prepared with the fresh ripened mangoes. Variety of cakes are also prepared with the ripened mangoes. One of the delicious curry prepared using ripe mango is "mambazha pulissery"(Famous dish of Kerala).

Variety of ice creams are also prepared with the help of ripe mangoes. The raw mangoes are also one of the favorites of children. The raw mango can be used for making variety of side dishes as well as curries. One of the popular side dish prepared using raw mango are chutneys. The mango chutney can be prepared easily and are delicious in eating with rice. Variety of chutneys can be prepared with the raw mango.

Another popular and delicious dish is salted mango or mangoes in brine. These can be prepared easily . The raw mangoes and salt are put in a brine and it is stored which is called salted mango. It can be stored for many years. some of the people store it for ages.

Mango fruit - income for many people

The mango cultivation is an important source of income for farmers. Many of the people are making huge income with the mango cultivation. The mangoes produced are exported to various countries. Salem is one of the largest mango producing place in India. Mango is also one of the healthy fruit. There are various vitamins in the mango fruit that are needed for our health. So we can say that mango is one of the delicious fruit that all people will like.
