Oster® Titanium Infused DuraCeramic™ Flip Waffle Maker Review

I was recently in the market for a waffle maker and purchased this Oster Titanium Infused DuraCeramic Flip Waffle Maker. We have a large family of six to feed, but let's just say five because the baby doesn't have any teeth yet. Therefore, I was looking for a waffle maker which could produce waffles fast. I had my choices narrowed down to a flat four square waffle maker or a flip waffle maker. I read through a bunch of reviews and found that the flip waffle maker was the top rated by several reputable product testing sites, including Amazon's Choice, Consumer Search, and Your Best Digs.

My findings are that....

The best waffle maker for your money is the: Oster Titanium Infused DuraCeramic Flip Waffle Maker.

DuraCuramic is a fancy word for non-stick ceramic coating. The construction lasts up to eight times longer than other types of nonstick surfaces. I never had to spray any non-stick cooking spray and the waffle easily lifted every time. A bonus of using a product with this type of surface is that it won't flake or peel which means that it will last a lot longer! The ceramic coating is PTFE & PFOA free. One of the best parts, for a working mom or busy family, is that this surface cooks up to 30% faster! That's EXACTLY what I was looking for!

• Comes with a removable drip tray. Okay at first I thought this was a complimentary serving platter to transfer the waffles onto. Silly me! It actually goes under the waffle maker to catch any possibility of drips. However, I made six waffles today and can tell you that there were no drips so maybe this tray is just for your piece of mind.
• Has a temperature control which easily adjusts to make light and fluffy or dark and crispy waffles. This is actually a really nice feature! Let me tell you how fast you can make waffles in this unit: 1.5 minutes. That's super fast! However, we do love our waffles a little crispier so I kept my dial in the middle and cooked them for a full 3 minutes. They came out perfect.
• Did I already mention that the cooking surface is made from Titanium infused DuraCeramic non-stick natural ceramic coating that is 8X stronger than any other non-stick coating? Oh yes, I did. Just checking to see if you were paying attention. I think this product will last a long time and I'm glad that we don't have to worry about flaking or peeling.

One of the most annoying things about owning a waffle maker is the caked on batter which sticks to the plates. I can tell you, after making six waffles, there was no drips and also nothing was left behind on the plates. We didn't even have to use non stick spray! For a busy mom who needs to make waffles FAST, this appliance is the perfect buy! I'm so happy with this product and glad that I found it.
