Outstanding Bath and Basin Taps for the Desired Styling

Updated on June 25, 2011

Stylish Bathroom Taps

What brings in glamour in our bathrooms? Each time one reaches out to turn on the taps they create the glamorous environment with their shine finish and design. A great basin or a bath tap ensures a good looking and an inviting basin or a bath.
There are various types of bath and basin taps to suite the look of your basin or bath and creates the desired aura or an ambience.

Traditional Taps

The elaborate and traditional bath taps and mixers look great and equally elaborate baths with clawed feet and lustrous finishes. Both add on to each other and complement each other for a very rich and royal interior.

A normal looking interior gets a very rich and a royal look and a very traditional appeal because of the extraordinary beautifully designed taps.

The Traditional basin taps are equally important for the desired look to strike through. A traditional basin will look complete and well designed only with a traditional tap. There are various designs of traditional basin taps in antique gold and well as chrome finishes in Victorian, Georgian, French as well as the Edwardian inspired styles. Refurbished bathroom taps have also become very popular for bringing in a traditional appeal into the bathrooms.

Refurbished Taps

The very traditional refurbished bib taps. They can be used for the basin as well as the bath with or without the long pipes for reaching up to the bath rim to fill it with water. These are very sturdy and made of brass. The amazing taps are the perfect option for a cottage house or a old world design house. With simple mechanism they have a certain warmth and simplicity about them that makes these taps stand out despite the simple design.

The Ultra Modern and the Minimalistic Tap Designs

A complete contrast to the elaborate and lavish traditional style is the modern day minimalistic and designer style, which comes forth as a no-nonsense style of designing. The modern designs have a high glamour quotient excellent classy finishes and very subtle but very fashionable designs.

Hi-tech taps for the bathroom

The latest introduction or rather an addition to the designs of taps is technologically advanced features like temperature detection and indication via LED lights, taps with digital display for temperatures, or a watch that shows time and even remote controlled taps for the baths. There are also taps that have sensors and detect a person in front of the basin to start automatically and much more, there’s no end to technology. It’s just getting better day by day.

hi nell!! if you want both of them you can design one of the bathrooms in a very trendy ultra mod look and the other in a traditional way!! so you see you actually want the best of both worlds :)

thanx for the complements and being so kind to comment.
