Great Vacuum For A Decent Price.

I was not planning on buying a new vacuum, but mine bit the dust without warning. So of course the first thing I did was go online and check out reviews for Vacuum Cleaners that were affordable for me on such short notice. The Bissell Powerforce Helix Vacuum Cleaner seemed to be just what I was looking for.

I went to my local Walmart to get my new vacuum, of course I did look at other vacuum cleaners to make sure I would get the one I really wanted. After looking at all the vacuum cleaners, I still ended up buying the Bissell Powerforce Helix Vacuum Cleaner. I have to tell you, I was not sorry.

After I got home with my new vacuum. I opened the box and took out all the pieces to it. I looked at the instructions on how to put the vacuum together. It only took me a few minutes to put the handle on, which was just two screws, so easy. Then I put the hose on the vacuum. I was now ready to try my new Bissell out. I was not disappointed!

The Bissell Powerforce has a lot of suction power, and it is not loud and noisy. The vacuum has so much suction, that I accidentally sucked up one of my cats cloth toy mouses! I was able to get the mouse out of the vacuum in one piece. My living room carpet is beige and shows everything, and the vacuum cleaner did an awesome job. I also liked the upholstery attachment, as it worked really well on my suede and leather reclining chair. People tend to forget that we have to clean our furniture as well as our carpets.

About The Bissell Powerforce Helix Vacuum:

** The vacuum comes with one attachment ( combo dusting brush/ upholstery tool). plus the crevice tool and the extension wand.

** The electrical cord has a polarized plug, to reduce the risk of electric shock, and the cord is quite long.

** Carpet height adjustments , which features ; Lowest setting: for low pile carpet and bare floors. Medium setting: for medium pile carpet. Highest setting: for high pile and most shag carpets.

** Dust cup and filters: The dust cup is clear, and you can see when it is full. It is easy to remove and empty. The filters are washable and easy to clean. They are also easy to remove and to replace. ( Be sure the vacuum is unplugged before removing any parts of the vacuum cleaner.

What I like about the Bissell Powerforce Vacuum:

First off the vacuum is lightweight and easy to handle. Second I like the placement of the hose as it is placed in the back of the vacuum, in the middle, not on the bottom, where it can pull out when you are using the vacuum. Which can be a pain, as well as throw dust about. The electrical cord is positioned so it does not get under the wheels as you vacuum. I had both of these problems with my old vacuum cleaner, which annoyed me. Also as stated above it is easy to remove the dust cup and filters. My old vacuum was a pain in the butt to do those things. Plus the dust got everywhere, and the filter was hard to put back into the cup itself.

So if you want a decent vacuum at a good price, take a look at the Bissell Powerforce Helix. I bought mine for under $50, and I am very happy with it. Oh and I have owned it for two months now, and I vacuum at least twice a week.

Update: I have now owned my vacuum cleaner for 6 months, and it still works great, and the suction is still as awesome as it was when I first got the Bissell vacuum. I am still very happy with it.
