Does a woman work ever done?

No no this certainly isn't fun.

We wish we can rock back on

the sofa like some of those lazy

daddies, but oh no! whose gonna

get all this house cleaning done?

We have got the clothes to wash

and the dishes is still untouched.

The food is still on the stove,

waiting for someone to serve.

But everyone seems to be busy

mama alone must hang the clothes,

sweep and mop the house

and God alone knows......

cleaning cleaning all day

her hands are sored ,now

to ironing she must go.

The phone rings it's mama Jane

she's certainly gonna keep back

my flow.......

It's almost four and ooops

the door bell rings it's the

children...... I must help

them undress and send to

the shower. Oh no! The

bathroom i forgot to

scrub where did all

that dirt come from.

Get me the broom and

soap for all this stinky

dirt must go.........

I scurry downstairs to

get dinner on the go.

The table i set and who

did i met ? My husband

The house work isn't finish

what a regret ..... and there

he goes and starts to fret

as if i have been sitting

on my hinds all day......

......... a woman's work is never

DONE!!

Unfortunately, cleaning is a never ending job :-( When you finish to go around, it's time to start all over again! But I must say that I love when everything is clean and everything has its place :-)

Happy New Year to you Abigail!

I am busy with the last preparations for my workshops :-)

I am so impressed to know someone that actually still irons clothes. I haven't picked up an iron in years. This was a fun poem on what goes into housework. I got tired just reading all you had to clean. LOL

You know it girlie!!! : ) LOL I think nowadays they call it mult-tasking and we women have been doing it all along, nothing new. Men can do one thing at a time, without distractions : )

      Good one dear Jo!

      Up and more

Hugs and blessings and ... take a break why don't you!

Kindly teach husband to pitch in when help is needed, especially if the wife has an outside job. Full-time housework for Mom, if fairly viewed, is for a stay-at-home mom. Still Dad has some home duties if he is a man. He can bottle feed the twins while Mom is finishing supper.

Moms carry each baby for NINE months, give birth by themselves, slowly recuperate, tolerate mothers-in-law, pick up the boys after football practice, host the 4-year-old's birthday party while managing nine other toddlers. WHEW!! It never ends, really if she does it alone. Oh, she goes to PTO (school) because Father has a meeting or some other business. I forgot piano practice for Sue Ellen. I think that it is almost impossible to list all of the duties.

Just hire a faithful, married maid and a part-time nanny, Moms. You deserve the help!

I enjoyed this poem! Thanks for sharing.

Ah, you got that right! You can work circles around them all day and the only time they notice you is when you just have to take a break! lol Good one here. ^
