Learn how to transplant the sugar plant "STEVIA"

Hi Gardening Friends

Today  I transplanted the herb stevia into 4 inch square pots. This is the final

transplanting. They will grow in these pots until I sell them later in the spring.

Here is what you do when you are going to transplant any kind of plants.

First of all mist your seedling really good and let the flat drain before you

start to transplants the seedling. Now you get the soil that you are going to

use for your transplanting ready to use. First you need to get a good soil

less mix potting soil. Don't go to any large change stores and buy their cheap soil? If you do that you will destroy all of your hard work that you did so far?

Go and look around in your area and see if you can get some good soil

at your local neighborhood garden center. When you buy a cheap potting soil you get what you paid for. And that means you get cheap potting soil.

And cheap potting soil could mean the destruction of all of your seedling that you taken care of so far. Here is what to look for when you go to your local garden center to buy your potting soil. look for this brand if you can get it?

1.Pro - Mix potting soil.

2. Metro Mix potting soil.

3. Miracle Grow potting soil

Try to see before you transplant your plants and get one of these soil?

Go out and look for a good potting soil that you can buy in your local garden center a independent garden center would have these products better than the large chain stores. This information is for all transplanting of seedling that you grow from seed. If you can't get these potting soil you cant contact me and I will try to help you. Contact me with this hub? Good Luck shopping for

potting soil. Now back to transplanting the herb stevia. After you get your potting soil you can start to transplant your seedling of stevia. First fill the pot with soil and then take a kitchen knife and cut around the stevia seedling that is in the seed flat.

And put the seedling into the pot keep the plant at the same depth that it was in the seedling flat. When you plant it in the pot make sure you first put a hole in the pot with your finger. Right in the middle of the pot. After you plant the seedling take and soak the entire pot with water. But be careful that you

do water the plant to fast and the soil runs out. Then put it in the flat and repeat the process until you are done with all of your seedling. After that take

your flat and make sure all of the plant are water good enough and set them either on a greenhouse bench or under a grow light for growing seedling.

Let me know if you try this? This is for all seedling when you go and transplant them into bigger pots.

Sincerely

Gardener Den
