WITCH DOCTOR - PLANT DOCTOR

YARROW is an old herb.  We're talking Neanderthal old!  It's been found in caves from eons ago.  It was used in Ancient Chinese I Ching.  Achilles packed it on his comrades' wounds to stop bleeding during the Trojan War, and it was used during the American Civil War.

Yarrow is the Plant Doctor of the garden.  Its root secretions activate disease resistance in nearby plants.  Another garden use: one small leaf will speed decomposition of a wheelbarrow full of raw compost.

In appearance, it's a 3 foot tall plant with a two foot spread.  It comes in two colors, yellow and red,and is a pest and disease-free perennial.  Plus, deer won't eat it, no small recommendation when you live in the mountains with deer all around!
