The Best Gifts for Gardeners of All Ages
This page provides one-stop shopping for gardening and garden related gifts to fit every budget and season.
Gardening is a favorite hobby for people of all ages -- men, women, and children, and our house is no exception.
We grow fruit, vegetables and flowers, make our own mulch, and follow organic gardening practices -- and the products here are ones we personally own and use or would very much like to receive as gifts (such as the Mini Greenhouse below).
So rest assured that the gift suggestions provided here are not random items generated by some algorithm but have been personally and carefully selected with much thought by a long-time gardener. I am sure they will bring a smile to any and every gardener on your gift list -- from the newbie to the most experienced horticulturalist.

The Best Gardening Gloves
My wife won't garden without these! She's had these for 2 years and they'll probably last at least another season. Since she would be outside gardening 24/7 if she could, you know they get a lot a use. They do run small, so order up in size. And check out the short video which explains the unique qualities of bionic gloves.
They also make other types of gloves. To read a review of the Bionic Rose Gardening Gloves, see Basic Gardening Essentials.

— Indian ProverbTools of the Trade - Are Always Appreciated
These are some of my current favorites. I have a habit of losing pruning shears and other small tools so can never have too many.
As I get older, I find ergonomic tools help minimize the aches and pains.
The Stainless Steel Transplanter, shown below, also eliminated the blisters I'd get from using a traditionally handled tool. Long handled tools, like the Fiskars Weeder are time savers as well as back savers.
Soil testing is important and I've included one here that is easy to use and extremely affordable. These are the ones in my gardening tool set and should be in every gardener's bag.

Whimsical Garden Statues Make Fun Gifts
Garden Gnomes
Gnome garden statues date back centuries. First used in Renaissance Gardens in Europe, gnomes are said to be powerful protectors of earth and plants. These Guardians of the Garden typically have human features, with exaggerated noses and ears. They usually wear a pointed hat and are believed to bring good luck.
All of the Gnomes pictured here are just a few from the best source we've found in our search to add to a family member's obsession with the little creatures. Different finishes and patinas are also available on many of the statues. Please note that picture is not to scale. Measurements are given in descriptions below. To order or learn more, please visit the Gnome collection at

Meet the Gnomes Shown above:
The first three statues in the Top Row and the one in the Lower Right Corner are made of fiber-reinforced cast stone concrete and are designed to last a lifetime. They are available in your choice of 12 classic colors and distinct patinas, each applied by hand in a multi-step process that makes every piece a uniquely beautiful original. Unlike a painted finish, the finish on this statue does not prevent the natural aging process, and these gnomes will therefore weather naturally in an outdoor environment.
