Adds a Country Touch to Your Home Decor
A chicken clock will add a cheerful and cozy touch to any room. Although they are often used in the kitchen, a chicken alarm in the bedroom will wake you up with a barnyard cock-a-doodle-do.
I have gathered my favorite chicken clocks on this page to make it easy for you to shop. Some have a classic barnyard motif while others are funny and whimsical.

Aunt Minnie's Country Kitchen
When I was a girl, I loved to go out to the country to visit my old Aunt Minnie. She was a very elderly woman who lived far out in the country and was looked after by her daughters. Aunt Minnie was my grandmother's aunt. That's how old she was!
I remember Aunt Minnie's kitchen always smelled like baked ham and apple cake. She always had something cooking on her wood stove, even on a hot summer day.
On her window sill over the kitchen sink, she had a funny little clock that was shaped like a hen. The inscription said, "Time to lay an egg!" At the tips of the minute and hour hands were little white eggs. I loved to sit and watch that clock. It always brought a smile to my face! I still remember it to this day!
