Disney Classic Mickey Waffle Maker

Updated on September 15, 2014

I have what most would consider a large family that mostly resembles a small herd of boys. We try to have one morning per weekend that we all make breakfast & chill out. Christmas time comes with tree shaped pancakes, Easter we do egg shapes...Valentines red hearts. But for everyday? Plain boring waffles that taste great but are kinda boring to look at....until I found a Mickey Waffle maker! Being a total nut I of course had to get The egg mold & the toaster...because nothing lights up a kids morning quite like Mickey on toast!

So this is a single waffle maker...meaning you need to make one at a time. Normal sized families will have no problem cranking out enough for you & the kids...we aren't those people so we have 2 of these...yes really. It's super fast on the set up, just wipe it down & pour in the batter, it has a light to tell you when it's ready. this thing gets really hot & once going it only takes about one minute per waffle. Be sure to use an actual waffle mix since these do end up on the thin side more like a pancake & you want a crispy outer layer....however regular pancake mix will get you a mickey shaped pancake essentially, which is great if you just need to make a couple!

Clean up is a breeze since it's all non stick. The waffles will pop right out with a wooden spoon or fork & once it's cooled we just wipe it down & store it for next time.

All in all this is a huge hit at our house!

Once you go with a Mickey themed breakfast you might as well get the egg ring & toaster...if you are a die hard Disney fan the Tasty Baker is aweseom too!

Do you dig it?

this sounds like a perfect solution for a large family - which would be my family too
