Dyson DC24 Vs DC25

Updated on March 22, 2012

Dyson DC24 vs DC25

The Dyson DC24 vs DC25 is quite a common comparison because of how well Dyson's perform against other vacuum cleaners. Whenever a new model is launched people are always curious as to what new features the latest model has and if its really worth them upgrading.

Dyson DC24 vs DC25 - The Differences:

These 2 models do have their differences. DC24 is smaller than the DC25 is best for apartments and also a small house. It's removable collection bin is 0.85 litres and a very powerful suction power of 120 watts. Working extremely well on any floor surface it has a one touch brush system to turn off the heads brush when needed.

With other models of vacuum cleaners this can lead to you having scratched floors. DC24's collapsible handle makes it great for easy storage. If you have a bigger house you will need to go for the DC25 model.

Ok, the DC25 has a 1.5 litre collection bin so more space means less emptying. A more powerful motor with 220 air watts of super suction power. This obviously makes it it great for offices and the huge homes out there.

Stairs are easy peasy with a long 16 foot hose and a nice multi tool to allow you to get into all those nooks and crannies with ease.

Both models are hugely impressive and do come with a 5 year warranty. True, they are not the cheapest vacuum on the market but for a long term investment you certainly won't be disappointed in the performance or the value for money.

Dyson DC25 Animal

If you are a pet owner then you'll appreciate the absolute need for a top quality vacuum. The DysonDC25 Animal is probably the best on the market for both dog and cat owners.

Pet hair is without doubt one of the leading allergen carriers because it not only carries pet dander, it can also harbor the other allergens like pollen and dust.

Pet dander is the dead skin that the animal sheds, it contains allergens naturally secreted by both cats and dogs and it can accumulate on your pets fur.

Did you know that these allergens have a sticky consistency? This means that they can easily stick to surface areas and can remain potent for a long time. The scary things is that a household without any pets is equally vulnerable to pet dander because they can also stick to your clothing.

This happens to me when my sister visits because she has a long haired dog and 3 cats, thank goodness for the Dyson DC25 Animal!

Dyson DC24 vs DC25 Conclusion

With a brand as worldwide as popular as Dyson you cannot go wrong. Yes, it can be a pricey investment to make yet the quality and long term useage you will get makes it more than worth it. Depending on how many bells and whistles you prefer then both the DC24 & DC25 are still a great purchase to make!
