Eco Egg Washing Machine

Updated on September 9, 2014

Meet the Eco Egg Washer!

The Eco Egg Washing Machine is a handy little countertop washer with a cute design that looks like a giant egg.

This little washer is a great choice for anyone who wants to wash a few items between trips to the laundromat. It is an excellent choice for people in apartments or dorms.

It also works great for washing lingerie or baby clothes and diapers.

Unlike most countertop washing machines, the Eco Egg Washing Machine has an automatic rinse cycle. It also comes with a 1 year warranty!

If you are considering a way to avoid hand washing clothes and want fewer trips to the laundromat, this convenient little washing machine just might be right for you!

Amazon says this little washing machine works great for washing items like tops, underwear, socks and diapers. Not so good for sheets and towels.

It has an automatic rinse cycle, which is a definite plus!

Consumer Reviews of the Eco Egg Washing Machine

Finding customer reviews of this little washer can be challenging. There are many advertisers and even some fake reviews! But I have scoured the web and come up with these reviews of the Eco Egg washing machine by real people.

I hope you find this helpful!

My Conclusion About the Eco Egg Washing Machine - Pros & Cons

I think this would be an excellent choice for someone who only needs to wash a few items to avoid going to the laundromat.

It will work well for one or two adults, or for someone with one small child.

I would recommend it for a single person living alone, or for someone in a dorm. It would also work well for campers.

This will work for washing lingerie, undergarments, socks, shirts, lightweight pants, shorts, skirts and leggings. I do not see it working well for sweats, bathrobes, hoodies or anything hefty.

It would work great for baby clothes, but it might have trouble with the linens.

If you are looking for a way to wash a few items between trips to the laundromat, the Eco Egg would be an excellent choice!

This little countertop mini washer won't replace the regular washing machine. You will still need a way to wash your bed linens and bath towels.

If you want to avoid some trips to the laundromat, or avoid running the full-size washer to do only a few things, then the Eco Egg washer would make an excellent purchase for around $100!

Mini Washers at Amazon - Hook Up to Your Bathroom or Kitchen Sink

These compact washers are portable, but roll across the floor. They are heavier and larger than the Eco Egg washer, but some of them also have a larger capacity. These are great for apartment dwellers!

Do these require the same type of plumbing set up as a regular washing machine? If not, that would be a real selling point for apartment dweller that don't have that set up.

@belinda342: No, it doesn't require special plumbing. It hooks up to the sink faucet. It's very simple to install.

I've never heard of such a thing. Very cool I think it would be perfect for lots of people. Going to the laundromat could just be what they do with heavier items. You're right. It sounds perfect for campers.

@Redneck Lady Luck: Bummer! Thanks for letting me know. They sell out often, but usually come back. Sometimes they come in different colors. I will keep an eye on it and let you know when/if they come back in stock, or if I find them someplace other than Amazon.

I just bought one and it is on the way from Amazon. I am really hoping I can do some thin cheap towels, even if one at a time. I need them for my cat to lay on. I like to launder his bedding often, but don't want to wash towels by hand all the time. So maybe the ultra cheap lightweight towels will be okay...
