If I get foreclosed on in Minnesota, Can the bank come after me for the amount they don't get...
after selling it?
Banks usually do not go after people that have lost their homes. However, you would have to speak with your specific bank and ask that question. Each bank operates differently of what they can and will do. Your state laws also play a part in this, so get as many facts as you can before it's too late. Have you tried to put your home up for sale before it gets foreclosed on? Or you may try to do a short sale. Of course, all of these options too have to be discusses with your bank.
I hope this helps and I wish you the best of luck.
