This is normal it happens in the factory. Sometimes they can be messy, but better to make sure it seals the window to the frame so that drafts don't come in. (and also so it doesn't rattle) If it's really noticeable I would take a razor blade and cut some of it off the window itself. I had to do that with the doors we got last year.
normal depending on the glazing sealant used by the manufacturer. It is usually a silicone sealant that is put on the sash frame and the glass is then pressed onto it. What you see is the excess that has oozed out. Manufacturers just don't want to take the time to clean it up. Be careful with the razor blades you can scratch the glass. Spray glass cleaner on the area while trying to take it off. It will help lubricate the glass so it doesn't scratch.
