What kinds of shrubs have scented foliage or flowers?
Gardenias are one of my favorite. Nice dark green foliage with a white flower that can be smelled from a ways off.
I hadn't consider the gardenia but I'll bet it would be a good choice for our zone. Thanks for the tip.
One of the most fragrant is the sweet mock orange shrub. It grows in zones 4-8, has beautiful white blossoms from late spring through early summer, and smells wonderful. Ours is about five feet tall and it is probably around 60 years old.
Oh, that sounds like a good one to check out. Thanks!
