    Usually you can start to see the top part poking up out of the ground. They are quick growing- most only take 22-30 days

    Radishes grow very quickly and are often grown as a quick answer when other crops take longer. Typically they can be harvested within thirty days of sprouting. If you see them beginning to flower, harvest immediately, unless you want to harvest some seed for the next crop.

      Thank you! I didn't know that the plant flowered. I'll be on the lookout for seeds then towards the end of the summer.

    Sadie423 said it perfectly.  You will see the top of the radish showing above the dirt.  If you leave radishes in too long, they become hotter than their usual bite!

      I like that they're spicy, so it wouldn't be so bad. smile
