What is the best way to start and make a compost bin/pile and what should I put into it?
The way I have always done it is dig out a 3 sided type of indention in the ground just deep enough to start your bin. I put everything in it that will decompose. Grass clippings, leaves, left over food, dog and cat fecies, any of this once decomposed makes a great fertilizer.
