Garden Water Fountain

Great Garden Accessories For Your Backyard!

Gardening for me is very therapeutic. When I am working in the garden I'm very calm. I like to grow flowers, especially my roses! I had yellow and red roses, together they make a beautiful looking bouquet and they smelled so good in the house. I've tried to find roses to add but they don't smell anymore! Have they been genetically modified for looks and not smell? Strange that whomever is making these changes needs to realize we want our flowers to smell! Whether or not you garden at a professional level or as a personal hobby, you will find gardening accessories here to exercise your creativity.

You can decorate all the different areas of your gardens with almost anything! Water fountains, arbors, outdoor solar lights for color and to keep you warm, a fireplace! Your garden can be as big or little as you want it, think about the time it will take for you to keep up with it, so it thrives.

There is a great DIY wine barrel sink for a project. It's a must have and a must make project if you want a sink outdoors. The options are completely up to you, check it out below!

Depending on the size of your garden, garden paths are functional for maintaining weeds, and can be decorated using stepping stones, brick or what ever you would like to see there. if you would like more privacy in your garden consider using backdrop walls, fences, and hedges, they are all good choices.

For those lucky people that get to use their gardens all year long, you have more options for more decorating. There are also night time accessories which include fire places, candle lanterns, oil lamps, patio torches, and illuminations. Solar powered products are good to have extra colors at night. I have some here so you can see what they look like.

Looking for garden feeders, hummingbird feeders or birdbaths are all good options to invite birds to visit one's garden and also make good ornaments. Want to attract beautiful butterflies to your garden? Visit Attracting Butterflies To Your Garden.

I hope you've found some good ideas here and plan on using them. One extra tip for trellises or arbors is to put sun loving plants on top, let them grow and you have extra shade from the sun.

How Can I Keep birds Away From Tomatoes?!

How Can I Keep birds Away From Tomatoes? I've been searching for just the right answer to that question for years! I was so tired of losing the battle to the birds. So, what is the solution? The best idea I've found is to use big red (shiny) Christmas ornaments keep the birds from pecking into my ripening tomatoes. Birds think the ornaments are something good to eat and quickly find out otherwise. When the tomatoes ripen birds aren't interested.

Plant Fragrant Flowers In Your Garden - Make Sure You Cut Them And Bring Them In!

Gardenia
Gardenia

I personally like fragrant flowers all over my house. I love the smells, colors and the good feeling I get when I look at them or when walking by and catch the smell. I purposely grow scented flowers, I like to give them as gifts or dry them out for arrangements to add to presents or wreathes. I'm pretty creative so I just "play-it-by-ear" when I'm making stuff.

If you grow your own flowers, don't be afraid to cut yours and bring them in the house! Some plants, after you cut them back, will grow stronger and give you more blooms when they grow back. Giving you more blooms to bring in your house! Now stock up on containers and drying supplies.

We have four arches so far. I want to add one more in the front yard. Gardening is my therapy too. We're long overdue for a mulch run. Then I'll be busy for weeks.
