Slam! Is Not the Sound a Toilet Seat Should Make
How many times have you had to replace your toilet seat because it split after being just dropped into the closed position? I stopped counting on my side. Watching the small crack start and slowly work its way across. Looking at it and thinking “Pac-Man”. As a guy most of the time the seat is up so you don't worry about it pinching you. The wife on the other had...
Anyway the wife found this new toilet seat that was supposed to close gently and not slam close. She brought it home for me to install and there it sat next to the toilet. Its not a computer so I was not sure how to get this thing put into place. So I opened up the package and looked at the instructions. OK so they were on the back of the package and easy to understand. Overall I think I spent more time trying to get the old seat off then getting the new one on. Yes world I had to pull out the screwdriver and a wrench to get the old seat off. I think it took me longer to read the directions to actually get the new seat on. Overall less then 10 minutes to read the directions and instillation.
But wait there's more. We had to do a little renovation on the bathroom. New sink and a new toilet, yes a new water efficient one, were both part of that package. I did ask if we could keep the seat? He asked why, and I showed him. He wanted to know where we got it as he has daughters. Once again its word of mouth that helps promote a product. Or in this case a little hands on experience. And we both wondered why this had not been developed sooner?
Final disclaimer – The pictures used below were on the package but I took the easy way out and am using them from the Amazon web site that this product is based on.
