Wine Cooler Tips!
- Consider the size of wine cooler (bottle capacity) that you will need, and think about how many bottle you will have at hand!
- You might wish to look at a cooler that will store both red and white wines, a cooler that comes in 2 sections, storing both in the same area will help save you space
- Look for an energy efficient cooler, you want one that won't cost as much as an additional fridge.
- The Shelves - Not all your bottles will be the same size so ensure the shelves can be pulled out. basic models have wire or metal type shelving, where others may come with wooden shelving and these can be fixed permanently so make sure you check.
- Whats the Features? - Check the lighting, the locking system and again the shelves and don't forget about the warranty!

There is also an interior lighting with an on/off switch for either zone.

Powell Bourbon Street Traditional Bar with Black Granite Top
It's posh, it's elegant and it's pretty pricey, but for some of us wine enthusiasts these types of wine bars have a place in our homes, sadly I am not one of these as I prefer the free standing, maybe when I was to move I would erect a more permanent cooler but for now and my limitations I will make do.
Having said that, I do like to see these in the right setting/abode, this is a nice Lightly Distressed "Yorktown Cherry" Solid black granite top bar with 3 wine racks which can hold around 15 bottles.
It also has the capability to hold up to 12 wine glasses, naturally depending on type and diameter.
Also provided is 2 nice storage drawers, and 2 cabinets that have those ever handy adjustable shelves.
If you have the money, if you have the space, if you have the decor, you should have this ;)

Coaster Marble Top Bar in Brown Finish
Now if you cant afford the Powell Bourbon Street Traditional Bar, here is an alternative and at a much cheaper price but still providing that elegant and expensive look, this is actually more down my street, you get 3 drawers, a nice rack on each end, a pair of cabinets, a nice large preparation area and a glamorous marble counter top.
There may be some assembly that you have to do! But for this price and what you get, who can really grumble.
