Are there work at home jobs suitable for single parents that do not have a computer/Internet or a landline phone?

Updated on September 18, 2008

Eyeball to Eyeball is always best!

I have been in Network Marketing for 25 years trying to find a good company with a good compensation plan. Since I have found that company, I wouldn't trade it for anything.

While I do work some online, it is because I choose to do so. Most of the work I do is what I call "eyeball to eyeball" business. That is the area I enjoy the most as you can get to know people a lot better and build a personal relationship with them, which is very important in my line of work. I do not have to make calls if I don't want to. I do not have to market online if I don't want to. While it takes a bit longer to establish a customer base without means of communicationg either by phone or online, it is where I have found my strongest business relationships. Word of mouth is definitely the best advertisement you have in any business and it carries much more weight than anything recommended online as people trust other people that they know who have had personal experiences with businesses.

So, there is definitely a home business that you can do from home and be very successful without a computer or landline phone. While this would help you build your business more rapidly, it is something that can be added later as your budget allows without going into debt to get started with your business.
