Brokenness

" The sacrifice you want is a broken spirit. A broken and repentant heart, O God you will not despise"

Psalm 51:17

Brokenness is necessary in order to mature as a christian. In fact without brokenness, a christian will not have a true ministry.

Brokenness is the crushing of the self-will, emptying your heart from your selfish desires to make way for God's purpose and plan.

The christians who truly made impact to the world

are those who have undergone brokenness.

Brokenness also is the crushing of our pride and all the idols we cherish in our heart such as our plans, desires, ambitions, etc.

I may say all christians must pass through this stage if they really want to have impact in the ministry and to the world.

Without brokenness, a christian will never be humbled, and will never learn the ways of Christ.

In being broken, we must thank the Lord for it means He does really care for us. You will never become a better person witout being broken.
