Marky Cielo (1988-2008)
Marky Cielo is Mark Angelo Cadaweng Cielo in real life. He was born on May 12, 1998 and passed away last December 7, 2008. He was just 20 years old.
The Philippine showbusiness is now in grief because of his untimely death. He is a popular young actor/dancer/role model of the youth in the Philippines. He became popular when he won as the Ultimate Sole Survivor of Starstruck Season 3. He is also the first Igorot to make it big in the Pinoy Showbiz where the meztiso and gwapo ones dominate the scene.
Marky Cielo grew up in Butuan City. In 2001, his family moved to Mt. Province where he embraced his Igorot roots. He can speak different languages and dialects fluently like Tagalog, Ilocano, Kankanaey, Butuaon and Cebuano.
He was a freshman college student in Saint Louis University in Baguio City taking up Architecture when he auditioned in the third season of Starstruck. Because of his talent in dancing and acting, he was included in the Final 14 of the show and was declared as the Ultimate Sole Survivor of that season.

When he won at the contest, Marky Cielo became very visible in the Kapuso network. He never ran out of projects. His launching show as a lead star is Fantastikids, together with Isabella de Leon, BJ Forbes, Glaiza de Castro and Ryza Cenon.The show was shown every Saturday. He was also included in the last installment of Encantadia: Pag-ibig hanggang wakas opposite Jackie Rice.
He then appeared in two shows afterwards like Bakekang (where he was paired with Yasmien Kurdi) and Asian Treasures (as the sidekick of Robin Padilla and Angel Locsin). He became more popular as a drama actor and action star in both shows but coincidentally, his characters in both shows were killed as he needs to do another one.
His biggest break is playing the role of Zaido Green in Zaido: Pulis Pangkalawakan with Dennis Trillo and Aljur Abrenica. He was loved by kids and became a role model to the youth. He was also chosen by the Department of Health as their youth spokesperson for the anti-smoking campaign.
After Zaido, he was once again paired with Glaiza de Castro in the Sinenovela "Kaputol ng Isang Awit". He was later on included in the cast of Codename:Asero. Again, his character was killed as he was needed in the rom-com show "La Lola" where he is paired with Lovi Poe. His character Billy is still present in the show until his untimely death.
