Lego Batman Strategy Guide 42: Breaking Blocks, Part 1

Updated on October 26, 2008

At the start of this, there will be tons of guys who just keep coming, as well as a helicopter. Go right and you will find that there is an area that you can jump down to, and you will land on a leaf. Get the First Canister, and then build a ladder to get up to the same area.

What you need to do is go to the right, and have Riddler mind control someone there to start wrecking things. He can build some dynamite, and a plunger to set it off. This will free up this area at the fence. It would be wise to come on in and smash everything.

You will be able to build a bulldozer. You can use it to destroy silver things outside the fence, but you can only go so far.

You will be able to use the railing upon railing to get up very high, and smash through something to rebuild a battery. Push the battery along the tiles, and you will have one part of some electric device built. Build up the tightrope to get to the next area.

Keep running through lots of guards, and shoot out a big padlock with Two-Face. A ladder will come down. Climb up and smash and push the battery in like last time.

You will notice another light turn on, followed by and explosion. Go ahead to that area and build up an odd machine that the Riddler can use to take control of a helicopter. He can use that chopper to destroy three silver panels on the wall and get a canister. Unfortunately, you won’t be able to get it as of now.

Go ahead and shoot the door out, and jump down to enter into the next area.

This next area will have some stuff to smash, so smash all, and two spinners will be revealed. These spinners will raise up some walls. This is a good thing because you won’t be able to get to the next area unless the two partitions between are removed. Take the Riddler and mentally control the janitor guy to pull the lever on the room to the left. The doorway of the exit will open and you can leave.

Forget about canister for now. In this area, the important thing is to run to the right, and have Two Face shoot out the control panel on the wall. The door will open, and the pile of gold can be remade into a brick that can be pushed on tiles towards the lasers. Once it hits them, it will vaporize both sides, allowing you access.

I'm desperately trying to work out how to get the lego canister in the entrance hall just up and to the right of the protraits. Can anyone help me please?

Many thanks (and eternal gratitude from my 3 year old son too!)
