Two Teenaged Angels Help from Beyond

Updated on February 13, 2010

Some of you may have read my story "Ghetto Chicks and Butterflies" where I shared about my nephew's passing almost 3 years ago, and the signs he gave his Mom and me from beyond, which confirmed that he is still alive, but in spirit. There have been a few more signs and visitations, not only with his loved ones, but also with his friends and even strangers! He recently visited his Mom in a dream.

In the dream, which was a short one, my sister, Norma saw her son standing next to a corner table with a chair where a young man was sitting facing a beautiful window covered with plants. When she walked into the room, she asked Omar "who is this friend?" he smiled and replied, "it's Chris!" and then woke up.

A few days later, she received a call in reference to an ad she had placed in Craigslist a week before, advertising a garage sale to sell off merchandise, tables and mannequins from her former boutique in NY. She spoke to a woman who wanted to see the merchandise as she was opening a boutique. When she arrived with her daughter, they were delighted to see that the entire stock was being sold at a nominal price, and decided to purchase everything right away.

When Norma and the mother started to chat, little did they both realize what was about to be revealed. The mother shared that her 19 year old son had been shot and killed 2 years ago, and was getting discouraged in opening a boutique because everything in NY was too expensive, so she prayed and also asked the spirit of her son to help her, and found sis who gave it practically away. The pain of the loss of this woman's son was so unbearable, that her husband passed away from a heart attack a year later after their son's passing; she also lost her business in her country, as she neglected it due to the consuming grief, but had to start earning income, reason why she was opening a boutique again, as she still has two daughters. When my sister asked her, what was her son's name, she said Chris! Then sis shared that she also had lost her son, and related the dream she had a few days before about Omar introducing her to Chris; of course both moms hugged each other and with tears, they were both filled with gratitude that both their teenage sons arranged this meeting between their mothers. Two strangers became potential friends, as both exchanged phone numbers and emails to keep in touch.

I wonder how Omar could have connected to a stranger, or Chris connect to Omar, and I am yet reminded again that spiritually we are all one. We are all capable of hearing and receiving messages from our loved ones, but I have found we have to be alert and open minded about the possibility of communicating with our loved ones who have passed on, in order to make the connection.

When I read or meet someone who has lost a loved one and is in need of solace, I want so much to give that person a hug, but its odd to hug a stranger, not that I haven't done this on occasion, I must confess, so I just listen with an open heart; sometimes this all that it takes to give someone the comfort that is needed.

I recently finished creating a non commercial, healing and inspirational website in honor of my nephew. Its aimed at helping others who are experiencing grief and looking for answers, and help. Not that I claim I can give the answers because I can't, but I can share a little bit of my soul, my sisters' soul, and the thoughts and experiences of others, and resources that may help. My sister, focused on the website design as she is a very talented artist and self taught webmaster, and I on the writing.

I think my nephew must be happy his mom and aunt worked together at creating something beautiful, and in remembering him in such a way that enriches us both.
