I thought I had two girls!
I thought I had two girl hamsters and had a surprise in the cage may 24Th! I woke up and saw five beautiful pink babies! That day she ate one and later I noticed that one passed on. I understand that eating young means that something must have been wrong with it, but it is very sad:(. The next day when I checked on them I saw that another was dead, I was sad, but I was devastated when I was getting out of the cage because it dropped and Betty (the mom) picked it up and out it back into the nest:(. But since the babies are good. They are both boys and their names are Shawn and Jesse. They both mean a gift from god, and in Italian Giovanni (the dad) means that too! They are starting to get fur and I am getting happier my the moment!
O gosh! Where do I begin? Well, as you know I thought that Jesse was a boy, in the end she is a girl! I now have the bays and girls separated, Shawn and Gio together, and Betty and Jessie together. Jessie is very loving and bonds with others nicely. Sadly I have to give her away because eventually I am going to put the cages together again, and I can't worry about trying to figure out who the mom is. Also I am writing a book that is 100% true called "Very Unexpected", it is all about dealing with my unexpected babies. Expect "Very Unexpected" to hit shelves near you in a couple of years!=>

I never saw this coming. One day I was playing outside with all of my friends. I went inside to go get something from my room. I walked into the living room and my dog Caesar was walking around when he wasn't supposed to be. He wouldn't listen to me. I had to chase him back into the kitchen with a book and he tried to bite me. Then I walked into my room to see that the top of my hamster's cage was off and my poor hamster, who was a mother too, named Betty was lying on the floor in my room dead. I started screaming and crying as soon as I saw her. The funeral was the next day and I buried her in a box that I had all the people she met and animal lovers sign the box as in memorial to her.
