I'll just say it now and hope my family reads this. If anyone (hint hint) wants to me buy me something special for Christmas this year they can go to Amazon.com and buy me a gift card online. Amazon has got me absolutely hooked - receiving gifts in the mail is like a getting a Christmas present every-time!

When I was a little girl we had what was called the "dream book" in our house - it was a Wards catalog - and I remember countless days and nights looking over the pages, ohhing and ahhing over the variety of things for sale in the catalog. Now with Amazon online, I've got my new "dream web pages", where I can now oooh and ahhh over just about everything under the sun! Amazon. com has everything from seeds for my garden, toys for my grandson to shoes for the kids. Shopping has never been so much fun!

I actually started using Amazon about a year ago when I started using Amazon gift cards that were given to me. At first I was a little anxious about ordering online but after a few times of ordering with great success - and receiving what was expected - I decided that this is the new way of shopping for me. I don't like shopping in malls so giving and buying gift cards online will be the way I do alot of my shopping this year - especially during the Christmas holiday season.

In the Internet age, some of us forget about the shopping aspect of buying online. While some of us use the Internet to do our banking online to make life easier, we sometimes forget that we can also use the Internet to do our shopping too.
