Best Cheap Websites for Gift Shopping

Updated on March 10, 2014

Getting the Best Deal

With online shopping becoming such a popular past-time, many of us take to the internet to not only shop for ourselves, but for others as well. We purchase gifts online for all kinds of occasions, but how do we know we're getting the best deal?

Most people tend to comparison shop (both in store and online) for the best prices on certain products. But this can be so time consuming, and sometimes we just don't have that kind of time!

Here is a list of websites that you can shop knowing that it will save you precious time and money too.

Do you shop online?

Overstock.com

Overstock.com is a popular website that many people already know about, with their latest shortcut update, O.co as well.

Shop Overstock.com for nearly anything; clothes, shoes, kitchenware, bedroom items, home decor, etc. They also offer shipping for a very low rate; $2.95 for your entire order. Can't beat that, right?

Hayneedle.com

This might be a site that you haven't heard of. Hayneedle.com is a website dedicated to people who want to shop for things for their home. From benches to rugs, coat racks, mirrors, tables, stools, bookcases, this site has everything you could think of for your home.

Many items even feature free shipping, which is awesome since you are already getting good savings on everything on their site.

Amazon.com

Odds are, you've also heard of Amazon.com but have you shopped there lately? They have it all, and for cheap prices too!

I use Amazon.com to get good deals on cell phone covers and accessories, electronics, video games (Wii, Playstation, Xbox) and that type of thing. But they also sell clothing, home goods, gift baskets, and even gift cards.

It's a great go-to when you aren't quite sure what you want to buy, but have a general realm that you are looking in.

AAGiftsandBaskets.com

You want gifts? AAGiftsandBaskets.com has got gifts, and for every occasion you could dream up too. This site offers gift baskets for holidays, birthdays, weddings, new babies, housewarmings, and lots more. Know someone who's sick? There's a get well gift for that.

Beyond that, if you're a business owner, or in charge of sending business gifts, then this site will be your saving grace as well. With tons of different corporate logo executive gifts and ideas, you're bound to send something they'll really love.

Zappos.com

So you've got a fashionista on your hands, that's totally fine, you've got Zappos. They carry everything from shoes, to clothing, handbags, home items, and more. Plus, it's not just for women. They also sell items for kids and men as well. Didn't know that, did you? (Or maybe you did...)

Zappos is often prided in their free shipping. Both ways. And their 365 day return policy. You don't see that from many stores nowdays.

MoMAstore.org

If you've got a little more money burning a hole in your pocket, then visit Momastore.org. They've got the most modern and hip gifts that will really knock your socks off.

If you have no idea what kind of gift you want to give someone, just visit their site. You'll find something fitting for them, and you can probably be pretty sure they won't own it already.

I have never shopped on the sites you have mentioned here, not because I don't love online shopping, but because my credit/debit card is only accepted locally. I went to check some of these sites, and they look cool.

Nice hub! I've shopped at almost all of these stores, minus Hayneedle.com and MomaStore - but they look interesting so I will have to check them out next time! Great suggestions here.
