Everything Dazzles

Updated on December 29, 2011

Here is my first entry in Everything Dazzles. As a recent college graduate I know the grind of getting by on very little money. I am always looking for good deals at thrift stores, flea markets, and garage sales. Times are tough so I am going to show how you don't have to break the bank to look cute. I'll be updating frequently showing my own finds and advice on how to update some of the things you may even have in your own closet! Many people are very into the green movement so reuse and re-purpose things you have in your own home. It will save you money in your pocket and it can be really fun too. I know my best friend and I have swapped clothes. It is always fun to have that great find. Don't get me wrong I get the desire to have that latest trend, but why look like everyone else? Be different, find your own sense of style, and recycle while you're at it! Looking forward to writing for all of you! Xoxoxo

Always repurpose your stuff and I agree with you you don't have to spend a fortune to find some cool stuff. Many people give away some great stuff to thrifts stores. It one of my favorite places to go!

Nice hub! I always receive comments about my style of clothing- I don't exactly go with the beat of everyone else's drum, if you know what I mean-But almost all of the comments are positive and are usually said with, "Your style is so unique and refreshing" included. I have had no money-lots of money-then no money again and quickly learned what I needed to know, to pinch pennies without pinching taste. I have made dresses out of old bed sheets, a shirt out of a curtain that had ripped and hair accessories out of the chopsticks I got during lunch the day before. My style is me-and that is better than the trends :) Like your hub, and profile- Welcome To HubPages! Looking forward to more!
