Updated on June 2, 2011

Make Money on the Internet

There are many ways to make money online quickly and easily without investing a great deal of time and without having to wait for months to collect. Some methods of earning money online require more time and others less. Most of these methods require a short amount of time per day of the occassional effort to keep them going. All of them make it possible to earn money online from home and without having to take on an extra job. For a lot of people, making money online, even if it's only a few hundred dollars a month, makes it possible for them to stay at home with their kids, stay in school or take on other responsibilities that require their time.

Make Money Online By Writing for eHow

To do this it's quick and easy and potentially very lucrative, but you do need to be a U.S. citizen. eHow is a website that allows anyone to write for them ot make extra money, as long as you stay wihin their guidelines. The site publishes short to medium-length how-to articles that can be about anything that is legal and non-adult in nature. Do you know how to bake a cake, make a craft, clean silver or plant seeds? Anything that you know how to do you can write a quick article about. Those articles make money online every month, and you sit back and collect the monthly payments through PayPal.

One of the best things about writing for eHow is that the monthly payments continue long after you have written the article. In two or three years you may still be earning money every month for the articles that you write this month. That can build up into a nice payment each month, bringing you extra money without any more work.

Sell on eBay to Make Extra Money

Anyone in virtually any country can sell items on eBay to make extra money online. It takes a little practice to be able to write titles and descriptions that will sell your items efficiently, but there are many, many benefits of selling on the site. Selling on eBay can be either part time or full-time work, or it can be done occasionally whenever you need a little extra money.

Items to sell can be taken from around your house, from local thrift stores or they can be items that you have bought new in order to sell. Thousands of people make their livings by selling on eBay and millions more make extra money by doing so.

Use Xomba to Make Money With Google AdSense

Google AdSense can be used in a number of ways in order to make money online. One of the simplest ways to do this is to use Xomba to bookmark items that you come across online. The site works like many other social bookmarking sites, but it differs in that the bookmarks must be accompanied by a description of the link that is at least 50 words long. It also differs in that you get a share of the Google AdSense revenue that is generated by each of your bookmark pages.

Each bookmark that you create is on a seperate page, and each of those pages will have ads on it. As long as your bookmarks aren't adult in nature or about how to do something illegal, your bookmark pages will stay up indefinitely, and you will earn half of the Google AdSense revenue of those pages. There is no limit on the number of bookmarks that you can quickly create.

Write for Textbroker

Textbroker is a site that allows just about anyone to write articles and reports of various lengths for the clients who order them. Textbroker does not require professional writing experience, and most of the orders are easy to fulfill. The orders pay anywhere from a dollar or two for a vey short passage to $40+ for longer items.

The site pays out twice a month as long as you have met the minimum payout of $10. Many people make a few hundreds dollars a month with Textbroker. It's also possible to use it as a quick way to makea little money online once in a while when you need it.

Make Money Online by Selling on is the lesser-known sister site of eBay. The site allows you to list items very quickly and easily because no photos are needed and the descriptions of the items are already there. You can sell a number of media items on, including books, movies, CDs and video games. To list them, you just type in the ISBN for books or the UPC number for other items and then type in a description and a price.

Half sellers are paid twice a week and can choose either a check or direct deposit. The site sets the shipping amount, collects the money from buyers and makes the entire transaction as easy as possible for you. All you have to do is ship the items to the address emailed to you and collect your money twice a month.

Anytime you need extra money, you can make money on the Internet by listing old books and movies that you never watch and old CDs that you've gotten bored with and come away with some cash.

Write for Associated Content

Associated Content will pay any American citizen for articles, essays and reviews that are written and submitted through the site. The article doesn't have to be professional quality, and it doesn't have to be something that you are an expert in. Just choose a topic that the site isn't already saturated with and write at least 400 words about it.

If the article reads well and tackles a subject that is not already overpopulated on the site, Associated Content will make an offer of between about $2 and $20. On top of that, the articles will earn residual income that is paid monthly. Even if the article isn't met with an up-front payment offer, it can still earn residual income if you decide to publish it on the site.

Write for HubPages

This one may take slightly longer, but it is still good money that can be made in less time than it takes to train for a new career. HubPages allows you to write for a percentage of the revenue of each page as well as to earn money through various affiliate programs. To make this work to the best of your advantage, make sure to make use of every single affiliate program available through HubPages and to use all of the ads that are made available. This will maximize the income that you make with each page. Create at least three pages a week for a fast-growing income that lets you get paid to write online about anything you want.
